Lake Travis Properties is a new real estate website associated with LakeTravis.org. While there’s not an official realtor that yet is affiliated with the site, we are actively recruiting willing and able realtors, listing agents, and property managers who would like to get their listings in front of a larger audience.During the ‘peak’ football season, LakeTravis.org can get up to a thousand hits a week, with nearly two thousand page views. We’ve just had the website up and going for a little over a year, and it’s continuing to grow. Based on this, we think adding some targeted pages for specific interests will be helpful for the community. The realty site is just the first. We’ll add more specific pages as we get volunteers to help write material and ‘own’ each page. That’s right, if you sign up to run a page, like football.laketravis.org, you can be editor-in-chief of the whole web-log (blog) area for that site. If you have a business that ties to a particular interest area, your business can be a direct beneficiary.
